For teachers and schools
Give every student practice at the right level
Comet Crew adjusts to each student as they play. You see who's moving ahead and who needs support. It's free for teachers, and setting up a class takes a few minutes.
Set up your class fast
Add students one by one or import a class list from a spreadsheet, then print their sign-in slips. Students who already play can join with a code from their game. Families can connect with your class code.
See each student's progress
Open any student to see skill mastery by subject, practice test results, recent practice time and a projected NWEA MAP RIT range for reading and math.
Ohio readiness at a glance
See a projected likelihood of reaching Proficient on the Ohio State Test and meeting the Third Grade Reading Guarantee. It's shown in plain words like "Likely on track," never as a pass or fail.
Assign a skill to the class
Find a skill by name or standard code and assign it to the whole class, with a due date if you want one. It shows up in each student's game as a starred mission.
Bring your whole school
A school admin sets up the school and shares a teacher code. Teachers join with it, and the admin can see every class in the school.
About the estimates
The RIT and readiness numbers are projections from practice in the game, based on published NWEA norms and Ohio's linking scores. They aren't MAP results or state scores, and they stay labeled "projected."
Free for teachers. Schools can help keep it that way.
Teachers and schools can use Comet Crew for free. We ask schools that use it to buy one site license, which covers every student at the school. It isn't required. It helps keep Comet Crew free for students and families.
